Unlimited chests because of map reset after town portal
If you find an area with a chest you can town portal as many times as you like and open the chests each time. So you can farm glyphs and shards pretty early game if you wanted to. I assume this is a bug but kind of funny that you can do it.

Nice for low levels. Does nothing for items at actual matter as in 200+ monos where the late game gear is.

Yep early game it will be way more helpful. Just a strange thing to not have fixed.

You'll get more items killing mobs, than from those chests. Especially the areas with a lot of rare bosses running around. Plus the exp.

and thats all that matters, right?

Who cares if the rest of the game is broken, just as long as the tryhard parts sorta function.

I did a run of doing it for a minute or so and had a decent amount of glyphs and shards. Not the best thing but right at the start it is faster IMO. And if they ever have chests with higher values in them then this reset bug could end up breaking parts of the game.

Hopefully people will abuse the hell out of this for loot, chests, boss spawns, whatever. Often its the only way to make devs fix things

I honestly do not understand how they didnt manage to fix this. I can tolerate that mobs repop and maps come back to their unexplored status... But can't they just store 2 values in an array to prevent chests and bosses to come back every time you enter an area ?

I like the game so far but these kind of bugs remind me of Loki. An old action rpg developed by a french team (Cyanide ?). The game was really fun but was also cluttered with "apparently easy to solve bugs". They ended up making them even worse when they tried to fix their messy code... I really hope this game isn't going this way.

and how old is this game again ? thought they would have fixed the small font problem as if it was the only problem it has at this time. Maybe they are still trying to learn how to diagnose and troubleshoot. I was hoping the debugging software would help with that.

When are you going to figure out this condescending elitist act is completely ineffective on me? I almost want you to get what you want, the devs to only cater ti the sweaties so it can fail that much faster and get even more predatory in its monetization.

I really think their backend code is so bad that saving map states would be the final nail in the coffin for the servers.

From way back in 2020. "Just for the record, we know exactly how to fix the zone respawning problem. We’ve had a plan in place for it for years that is still going to work well. It should happen for offline and online around the same time that multiplayer launches."
