Smoke bomb traversal

If anyone knows the answer to this Id appreciate it.

When I turn smoke traversal skill the smoke cloud is small and no longer grows, is this only a visual bug or does it disable all area increases?

Might be a bug or only a visual difference, due to the animation of the dash and all.
Hit ESC in game, click the bug report button, select skill issue and describe the problem for the devs to investigate.
