Game can't run in offline or online mode - Help?

Since buying and installing LE yesterday, I've been completely unable to actually play it. Whether I select offline or online, it hangs up indefinitely at the launching window, and eventually gets flagged by Windows as Not Responding. Steam also can't force-stop the game for some reason; I've let it sit for 8+ hours [Stopping]. So far I've tried:
1) Running the game directly through the application instead of Steam.
2) Verifying Steam game integrity files.
3) Uninstalling and re-installing.
4) Running as Administrator
5) Updating video card drivers

I'm posting here first because I think it's a Steam problem, but how to figure out and fix the issue is beyond me at this point. I didn't see a point in going to the official Support team yet when I can't even get into the client properly.

Seems like ive started getting this aswell.

Today when i try launching the game it gets stuck on the intro loading screen not responding

I haven't been able to play for 2 days. I've reached the character selection stage. When I click on enter game nothing happens.

1) Running the game directly through the application instead of Steam.

I can't help, but just wanted to bump this. I am having a similar issue, but mine is launching after around 10 minutes (with another 1-2min of a frozen intro screen)

I had this too; select character, loading lasts forever. In my case it was caused by NordVPN - turning my VPN off fixed it and it loads properly again. If you're running one as well, that's worth trying.

I don´t use Nord VPN. At Legcay i can play, At cycle it don´t worke, no lodingscreen.

Having the same issue for the past 2 days. just let it load for about 10 min then i can play. iv'e restarted, updated drivers, checked game files, ran as admin. no change. only thing i have not done is uninstall reinstall. hopefully a fix is released in short order.
