Did you see the For- I mean Tempering stuff and the way the affixes function and all those things? It's literally 1:1 of LE... The graphic being different is not making any difference lmao

Yes i did see it, its not 100% 1:1 but it is very similar.

Blizzard does its best work when lifting it from others

The issue is that Diablo has fired so many developers(or they quit) from the studio over the years that anyone left has no clue what the vision of the original game was, and most of them are just 'cash shop cash shop battlepass' mantra repeaters so it's not going to get to the game it 'could've been'.

Blizzard died when Activision took them over and made them a sock puppet. They should force companies to change names when acquired to stop the puppet show we have to put up with

At this point they can't create anything new so they take things that are new from other developers... That could do that... Okay...

You shouldnt act like LE's crafting system is some genius thing or so. It's either that, poe's gambling garbage or simple menu crafting like grim dawn and d3.

You can only do so much in these genre. We all know that blizzard and most of the western industry copy each other with some different flavour attached to it.

Last Epoch's crafting system is unique - low floor and high ceiling. What other game does this crafting system, since you seem to think it's not a new creative system? What does Diablo 4 do that other games don't? Suck ass.

Sorry Diablo was your childhood. I loved Diablo 2 too buddy... Doesn't make 3 or 4 good tho. Blizzard isn't even Blizzard anymore, it's Hail.

It's funny to say there's no way to do anything creative nowadays when games are doing new ♥♥♥♥ by innovating on ancestors and making something new from it. Blizzard does not do that. They are the dead beat parent using their children's credit score.

Have they done ANYTHING innovative yet? No? Then my point remains. You assume, because you think everyone just hates to hate, that I would be the same. I'd be surprised and favorable of Blizzard if they did a single impressive thing at this point. PLEASE enlighten me on these things they did that would affect MY opinion of it. So weird to think you know me at all. You prone to being parasocial with people online? Kinda feels like you might be.

When innovation does happen you can bet every competitor will borrow the system. That's good for consumers. You now have better games across the board. Competition then continues to drive companies to innovate more. I'll say again, your ARPG is not your girlfriend, you don't need to defend her honor. Celebrate when innovation gets 'stolen'.

I don't even play LE anymore since the devs don't know what they are doing, but they did indeed do the things I claimed they did. That's not defending them really, it's just saying what happened lol. As I said, I celebrate when cool systems are developed or when yoinked and twisted. Blizzard doesn't know how to twist anymore.

Everyone has it in their head that anyone that says something nice about a game LOVES IT AND WILL DIE FOR IT and anyone that says anything negative HATES IT AND WILL ALWAYS HATE IT. That's not me. Stop thinking everyone is as stupid as that and the world would be better. It's not black and white only. Common sense is so rare.

Microblizz needed almost a year to implement concepts, which they had already refined over a decade in D3, like greater rifts, quality of life changes and so forth.
The amount of grief they exposed their fans to is unheard of.

What good is an open world multiplayer setting, if there is literally ZERO incentive to ever interact with other players, your buddies aside.

The amount of people who rode past me last year made me chuckle, cause it could have all been bots and it would not have made any difference.
Reminded me so hard of Lost Ark player community, with at least 3/4 being bots.

And don't tell me you need anyone for a world boss or legion event.
We all know once you have done it a few times, it's an incantation which puts you to sleep infront of your PC.

The audacity to hire the season 1 'fail team' again for season 3 was the final nail in the coffin, to make even the last hardcore fans migrate to Last Epoch, while it was still in early access. At least that's how the story went for me.

I'd rather play D2R than D4, or better anything with ultrawide support, like Warhammer 40K Inquisitor Martyr, or much better Grim Dawn and now even better Last Epoch.

And if you wonder why I skipped PoE, it's simply because they antagonized me, by stealth removing ultrawide support in 2021 League of Kalandra. Always makes me sigh, not being part of "the vision" anymore.
