Diablo 4 Copypasta
Blizzard had a video basically explaining all the things they want to use to improve Diablo 4. They said can I borrow your homework Last Epoch? lmao

Edit: Y'all I'm not surprised or anything at all. I know this is how Blizzard operates. I should have been clearer...

Blizzardfanboy: LAST EPOCH SUCKS IT WILL NEVER BE BETTER THAN DIABLO 4! NOTHING IN THAT GAME IS EVEN GOOD!

Blizzard steals all the things (They didn't do the twisting part of gamedev to make it different.)

Blizzardfanboy: Oh my god, Blizzard, you did it again! Idk where you got these big ideas you geniuses!

Blizzard does its best work when lifting it from others

The issue is that Diablo has fired so many developers(or they quit) from the studio over the years that anyone left has no clue what the vision of the original game was, and most of them are just 'cash shop cash shop battlepass' mantra repeaters so it's not going to get to the game it 'could've been'.

Blizzard died when Activision took them over and made them a sock puppet. They should force companies to change names when acquired to stop the puppet show we have to put up with

A creatively bankrupt developer just ports ideas from everyone else and hopes to mash them into a shape.

That is current day blizzard for you.

They used to take others ideas and build on them, improve them.
Now they're just massive jokes.

As i customer I'm happy if games looks at each other and borrow the best things and ideas, and fit it into the game. That will benefit us.

I dont really care what they copied. I watched the campfire chat and the changes at least on paper.. make the game better. Thats good.

They also finally put grifts in. Everyone expected that and now we got it. As long as it's not the only endgame system.. I'm also fine with that.

Are they creatively bankrupt? Ofc they are. At this point there can't be new creative things never seen before, especially with these corporate products. But the simple fact still remains that the changes are making the game better than it is now.

I just wish they would turn the skill twig into a proper tree but that probably will never happen.

Not if they do literally nothing different to innovate. They are just grabbing without doing it in any different way. It's also funny as ♥♥♥♥ that all the D4 fans will say "OMG this is so good! That's how Blizzard has always made games. The only way you can find it surprising is if you're very young.

They have not made anything truly original since Lost Vikings. Their business model is, and has always been, to leverage superiour resources to take other projects and make something from them that is so polished and optimized that it takes over the space created by those projects. Their target audience is the lowest common denominator and they are extremely good at making things for that group.

That doesn't mean their games are bad. Often it means quite the opposite. They have so much money that anything another developer announces, they can start production of, and finish, before the majority becomes aware that someone else was working on it first. To notice this simply means that you've grown up and developed perspective. It isn't new.

I'm not surprised... I'm just laughing at it... They still cannot innovate. So lazy just try to do something new with what others made, but nah that sounds like work... Yet dumb gamers eat that ♥♥♥♥ up and praise them for this. Just call it what it is.

Did you see the For- I mean Tempering stuff and the way the affixes function and all those things? It's literally 1:1 of LE... The graphic being different is not making any difference lmao

You shouldnt act like LE's crafting system is some genius thing or so. It's either that, poe's gambling garbage or simple menu crafting like grim dawn and d3.

You can only do so much in these genre. We all know that blizzard and most of the western industry copy each other with some different flavour attached to it.

You now acting like it's so surprising and bad is just mindless d4 bad npc stuff that is so popular these days.
