Fall of the outcasts monolith

Last week, I reached level 60 and the monolith thing ... I gathered enough "stability" (whatever it means) and did the 3 quests of this very first monolith. Today, i see I haven't completed the 3 quests and must do them again? I don't really understand what they want me to do with these endless monolith things.... I don't see the way

They are repeatable, you grind them for experience and loot. You farm enough stability to do the 3 timeline quests including the boss as the third. Some bosses are the only way to obtain certain loot so are gated behind those kills
