Edit: I would like to add there is value in it depending how the player values their time in endgame. As it stands MM cannot push very high without relying on very specific setups. Being able to go as high as possible greatly increases your profits to fund other cool ideas with builds you might have. Most sane players would just swap to falconer for the best profits + fun instead of just fun.
There is more than enough footage on youtube of marksman doing 600+ corruption with explosive trap + detonating arrow.
It is hard to get smoother than that to progress into the endgame.
Yes, the same build I mentioned using Jelkor's. Thanks for proving me right.
i really like marksman as well, or the thought of her, but just feels weird to go marksman and not put any points into the actual tree

The useful passives were gutted in 0.9, so you are losing value if you invest in those. They pick the mastery only to access Detonating Arrow. If there was no such requirement, those builds would be either Falconer or BladeDancer.
Falconer has a fresh and untested tree with lots of powerful nodes. Some of them are bugged though sadly, like the one that converts your block chance to glancing blow chance.(which is bad idea anyway, unless your block effectivness is super terrible)
No problem, just thought it could confuse new players.
You should make a new comment in such a case, I only saw this by chance.
I always notice that many players think they need to be as efficient as if they went to work. But gaming is one of the few exceptions we get, when we do not have to worry about efficiency and do not have to function like clockwork.
I could see myself being content with farming 200 corruption and get all the gear I need to try new builds. The first two weeks I did nothing else but to roll new characters to try stuff to a certain point, only to move on to the next. I didn't need any gear or wealth for any of that.
Nobody gets to define how you want to spend your playtime but you. If you want to be as efficient as possible, I guess that is fine too. I just want to relax and have fun. Anything I squeeze out on top of that is just a bonus.
Base uniques is pushing it a little, I frequently find items with 1-2 LP.
Sold a 2LP ladle for several millions 15 days ago. Not to mention that I can trade for gear as well. If I was CoF I would have been more inclined to push corruption further.
