rare monolith boss uniques are killing my drive

I have grinded the dragon timeline to 300 corruption trying to get his rare drop (the relic) with 2 lp...

After all those kills I have gotten one relic with 1 lp which of course got the worst affix on the piece I merged it with.

This is just killing my drive to play this game... I dont mind grinding hard for 3+ lp but its hard enough to get the monolith bosses to drop their rare dropm let aloine with 1-2 lp. and then you need to hope it gets the right affixs or you start the grind all over(this last part im fine with btw)

The fact that i need another rare boss drop after this just is starting to make me not want to play this game.

Would it kill the devs to make the rare boss drops have a higher chance to spawn with 1-2lp after a certain point since they rarely drop as is.

If your argument was "Man i am really farming for this 1-2lp relic but this mono grind is just boring and I dont know how much i can do it" That is a personal preference and one that is very understandable since in the current state it is rather repetitive or if say the unique itself was ultra rare and you wanted to play a build like say the wraith-lord build and you needed that one item but it just wont drop.

However your current argument is "I am not gonna keep playing cause the item that would bring me from 1000 DPS to 1010 dps wont drop." That is the silliness over complaining about LP.

LP drops are not supposed to be common they are supposed to be rare like way less then 1% chance of getting a unique to drop and it having LP on it rare because its just a cherry ontop of your build they are not meant to be build defining.

youve said nothing against the issue i have. you are just trying to downplay it. what ive said is still the truth. lp drops for rare monolith boss drops arent high enough (1 and 2 lp)

No one is denying what you said is true, i have not denied I have in fact pointed out with numbers what you said is true. The chance of getting even a 1lp version of your relic is under 1% a 2lp is under 0.05%

You are doing 300 corruption you do not need a 1,2,3,4 Lp version of those relics grind up to 1k+ where the drop rates for LP are higher and you will start to need those items and perhaps you will get them.

You want something that at the current area you are farming the drop rate for it is beyond ass. If you want to better your chances at getting it just concentrate more on boosting the corruption level up to a point where you cant anymore and then farm it.

At that point you will then need the LP item and have the highest drop rate.

you complaining that items are not dropping with LP while at 300 corruption is like me complaining a starer dungeon in a MMO is not dropping end game legendary items and at this point if you honestly cannot understand that then please do as you said, just log out and uninstall the game cause what you want is not going to happen.

And the devs are saying it is so what you are saying is 100% pointless since they are the ones that decide on the drop rates. So once again if that is a issue just go ahead and uninstall

The end game in this game sucks. Its absolutely boring and totally easy. No point in farming drops that take forever to craft.

Using a literal currency item as a comparison to basic drops in LE is a bit of a reach. wasn't like it was that Rare especially with duping. not until it became used to spawn Clone diablo.

Uninstalled the game due to frustration after burning 60 dungeon keys without dropping a single immolators with 2 lp. Playing something else while waiting for po2 now.

couldt they implement what other games do. maybe like you need similar type of unique then combine them to get one LP. then combine one LP items in order to make 2 LP item. repeat process till 4LP. it takes time but atleast were sure to get what we want.

At least let people feed 0 lp items together to make a 1lp, 1 lp items to make a 2lp etc

so if you found enough base uniques you could feed them together to make a 3lp etc

PoE respects your time? is that a joke?

I've got thousands of hours in PoE, and it does not in any shape or form respect your time, it is a game of literal time sinks, with straight RNG for virtually everything in it, including it's slot machine crafting system.

In fact in PoE, without trading 99.9% of people wouldn't even get to uber farming in a traditional 3 month league window, that is how well it respects your time.

For 4 consecutive leagues I ran a free boss carry service, I must have killed Sirius 6-8 times a day for a year, I never ever once saw his sword drop, not one single time.
Never saw a mirror, never saw the vast majority of chase items as drops, nor the Awakened gems, and I was playing 400 to 1000ex builds, PoE without trade is the biggest pile of garbage you could imagine.

Seems like you want the rewards without pushing to the point where they increase the drop potential, that is not a dev issue.

ive played POE since beta and have sunk well over 3000 dollars into supporter packs. ive never felt poe waste my time. I guess this is just a difference of opinion between us.
