Or honestly just running around deleting monsters on your screen while listening to a funny stream in background.
Where can I reach that leaderboard?
My endgame motivation is the same as other power creep games, do it to pass time and delete monsters
With LE it's different. There's still plenty to finetune with my highest-level char, and there's an infinitely scaling challenge in the form of corruption and endless arena. That's what keeps me motivated.
The only downside for me so far is that there is little to no "must-have" items, like Stone of Jordan in D2, for instance. At least I haven't seen any or heard of any. There is no wow-factor when it comes to that, it's all rather incremental. I hope that changes in the future.
I found at least 5 uniques already i am hard pressed to create a working build around but you can bet your butt that I will try once I have reached my own endgame goal.
Until POE2 proves that it is fun in a way LE is, my time will be sunk in to LE.
Is this your first time playing an arpg?
There's never a "point" to endgame besides simply grinding for loot to make your builds stronger. Stronger for what? For nothing. Just for fun. That's literally it.
