I agree with everything but the monolith, i have more fun with monolith than D4 endgame, farm duriel is even less fun to me, and nightmare dungons is more boring because there is much less different map & ennemy !
D2 was their last decent ARPG. WoW was good until they tried turning it into D3 and ruined the way a bunch of classes played. Starcraft 2 was good until they decided to let the franchise die. Overwatch was also good until they ♥♥♥♥ on the community with OW2.
They've been in a death spiral for a while now, but let's not pretend that 1998-2016 didn't happen.
The issue is Diablo IV has nothing but graphics. That can sustain you through the campaign, that's it.
The D4 skill trees are a joke. I wouldn't even call it a skill tree. On average each character has 1.5 viable builds.
Usually just one viable build with imperceptibly small variations.
And as a looter, D4 is a total fail.
D2 Ressurected is exceptional.
