which direction is the Black sun monolith?

Trying to get the squirrel helm and apparently I need to find the black sun. But where to begin. Which direction to go?

Right next to the very first timeline you start in. I don't recommend "farming" items in normal monos though. You could also try rolling with rune of ascendance if it's a world drop and you reeeeaaalllly need it that early.
