Yep, and this isnt just a case of an OP build. In POE there are builds like this which are mirror tier and require a lot of investment and time to get up and running, but people dont mind because of the time and investment required. Here we have a build you can run with all rares and have working within a few hours of playing.
I'd be sitting there grinding corruption thinking my time is being wasted.
Bugs need to be fixed, this is not fair for the classes who dont have access to these builds, also where is the fun in immortal or infinite dmg builds?
Don't keep the fun for the %1 to ruin it for the 99%.
The real issue is that theres trade now. If they hadnt implemented trade, it would hardly matter, except for the leaderboards which also does matter to some players as well.
In terms of trade, it benefits RMT botters because an immortal build that requires no investment is a RMT bots ultimate dream. And it hurts players in trade not using this build because they cant compete with the warlocks pushing 2000 corruption and dropping much more gear and more rare gear.
Theres other reasons too, but these are some major ones.
And sure, I could play a weaker version of it, but the fact that I am not allowed to use certain skills and passive to stay "legit" would also irk me.
They're caving in completely to reddit plebs who think "nerfing" anything is always bad, even if it's a literal bug. They need to have a bigger backbone or a backbone at all, the integrity and overall quality of the game is more important than avoiding some heat from selfish plebs who don't deserve to be heard anyway since they don't have the game's best interests in mind and only care about their own little bubble.
Nerf things as soon as needed, fix bugs asap, ignore "feedback" from people who don't want the game to improve.
