About loot pets ( Request )

Hey guys! im currently lv 56 and I'm loving the game!
Now a request I would have is for looting pets.. But not only straight up pay to win ones..
I mean they can be slow or whatever but a little funny animated companion would be awesome..

Idk who here remember Dungeon Siege 1 .. but that game had the BEST LOOTING PET EVER DONE IN A VIDEO GAME.
It was a very funny little Earth golem.. and had some mechanics..
Like he could carry A LOT OF LOOT ! But if he get a certain amount of damage he would die and drop everything!
Also he was super funny because he actually feared other mobs and always tried to run away from them... leading to some REALLY funny situations where he ran left... then right.. then gets trapped and clapped...

I really wanted back some cool pets with cool A.I
Even if they are tied as a class spell..

I wouldnt mind a little loot gnome to pick up shards and gold.

Pretty sure they said no to this already multiple times, but you should add to the suggestion pile on Discord. Maybe eventually it will be so heavy it breaks their back on it and they put it in.

If collecting masses of loot was even remotely useful, I'd agree, but it's just not necessary.

in the dev stream last week. mike said its highly unlikely they will add any sort of auto looting and that its more likely they will make shards and ruins go straight to the forge rather than clicking the transfer button.

Mike also said something along the lines of them adding another system to where you will want to pick them up. what the hell that is not sure.

whether any of this happens is anyones guess

Oh, I hope so. I remember watching videos a few years ago saying what a good feature the transfer button was, but it's nothing but a 2-step waste of time.

Id love a little treasure goblin that picks up the stuff excluded by your loot filter and either sells it for gold(he takes a cut of course) or a gnomish tinker that breaks them down for a chance to drop affixes after so many items.

i agree here. only time will tell. none the less i still enjoy the game 5 yrs later
