So stop spewing hate with such topics.
Its like a war were some people just need to smack talk the other games.
People want LE to be successful so hopefully GGG starts including similiar features in their game too.
Scroll of wisdom/portal scrolls should have gone to grave for good in PoE, like a decade ago.
Side effects of copium and heavy marketing by EHG, combined with influencer/streamer videos on a daily basis. Marketing more than what your game offers usually backfires in a way, remember Cyberpunk release 3 years ago.
I am pretty sure most of those zealots will be doing the rudest negative comments about LE some time after the release, you will see.
Yeah, the difficulty of respeccing single-handedly makes PoE unplayable for me. What's the point of playing if I have to either follow a meta build to the letter, or delete my character when I inevitably fall behind the curve?
When D4 first dropped judd was telling people he had his team taking notes as fast as possible. As time progressed mike would often "dunk" on D4 during the live streams.
With PoE EHG often speaks of having a close working relationship with Chris Wilson, and how important it is to EHG to be able to stagger the cycles so users can play both seasons. Well that was before the PoE 2 changes were revealed.
At the end of the day I think the different games cater to vastly different player types, and everything else is just the fallout of player pride.
You will soon realize that it's the same in LE or do you think that with your small number of playing hours you know how balance LE is? All you have to do is look at the rankings... but as always, the rose-colored glasses only fall off when you feel it firsthand. Someone who has no ideas of their own will have to follow guides in last epoch too, and they will all play the same thing because It's normal that some build is the strongest.... and since last epoch has far less build variety than Poe, this will be even more noticeable here.. but the complaining always comes later. and as long as a game is new to someone with little experience, everything else is bad ;)
In Last Epoch, each skill has their own dedicated skill tree, and can be freely respecced and swapped at the cost of a few skill points; you have accelerated XP gain if a skill is below the level it's "supposed" to be. Similarly, passives can be removed at will for a small fee in gold (which quickly becomes meaningless).
In Path of Exile, points can only be respecced through rare tokens gained from the story or heavy grinding.
It's not about how many build options there are, but how easily a novice player can adjust their build if they make the "wrong" choice.
