Starfield is just Bethesda being lazy for what... more than a decade? It sounds like an insult for any decent game to be compared with that garbage, even in player count.
Probably some random game developed by a single dev is played more often than midfield.
as for starfield it aint a game with replayability nor seasons its normal to do so.....
everybody knows it is, but loud minority is simply oblivious to it, on lowest peak day it has more player than the record of poe
Blizzard has had 8 months to work on fixing all of the short comings and instead have focused on nerfing builds and making worse and worse seasonal mechanics. I honestly dont see D4 recovering unless the expansion really overhauls the game in a direction that respects players and not shareholders.
With 1 million copies sold and the hype being off the charts why is that?
The class picking guide and "you should play LE" are doing well but the rest.... Why?
And sorry, videos that use Diablo IV to bait views on LE content I do not count. Those are D4 views and we all know it. Or else putting D4 in the Thumbnail or title wouldn't be nescessary. But why?
Contrary, I am being bombarded with LE videos on YT page, because every single ARPG content creator is making videos about this game.
The issue is around %80 of them are talking about the game's potential, not its current state, and don't even mention its leaving early access in a faulty state. They literally can't because most haven't played this game before, so they have no idea about the missing story chapters, models and skills per class etc. The endgame is literally the same with what we had when this game first launched on Early Access, minus the boring dungeons, that was 5 years ago.
At this point, I hope the release just happens, so some of the people can actually realize they were overhyping a mediocre product. It has become mundane to see fans' usual defense of "early access" and "D4 is worse" arguments, most of them haven't even seen the endgame and have no idea what the game suffers from internally.
Picking up LE anytime seems a lot easier in comparison.
What D4 player numbers are you actually talking about?
Because the only official numbers that exist are:
Diablo 4 Steam = 9500 players
And Twitch = 2700 viewers
Diablo 4 is as dead as it gets.
Smart move ignoring the Twitch viewer count there.
Estimates, but across all platforms everybody knows d4 has way more players... Denying that just makes you look clueless.
LE isnt even trying to compete with them, only PoE2 wants to try that - carefully.
Its not about winning the numbers, its about providing the best gaming experience.
And so far LE is not what you would call the best arpg experience.
Well, unless I want to do yet another run of my old standbys Grim Dawn or Diablo 3, it's either Diablo 4 or Last Epoch, and I know which one I prefer. I've made multiple attempts to get into Path of Exile, but the game is just too complex for casual play and its not nearly generous enough with respecs.
