Resonance drop restriction
I am very interested in the Circle of Fortune and hope it unlocks meaningful character progression that respects the players time.

My playstyle is mostly solo, but also guild-based. Meaning I have a couple of people that I like to trade with. However, we rarely actually run around together.

So how do resonances drop exactly?
My assumption is that once I party and play with another player for an "extended period of time" that player gets added to a "resonance-list" of sorts? From now on resonances for that player can drop.

Can resonances only drop when the player is also present? Or are respective resonances added to my account-wide drop pool?
How many players can I have resonance with at a time?
Are established resonances permanent or do they fade and I have to continue playing with that other player?
What about consumables, materials or whatever other stackable items are in the game? It is pretty normal to go "I need a few of X, anyone got some? Thanks, will give back in a few."

Furthermore, would it be possible to create a clan with other players and locking characters into that clan? Meaning characters in that clan can trade with each other with little or no restrictions. Using a clan-stash of sorts that everyone can drop items into and take from as they need it. But they cannot trade at all outside the clan. And they are automatically part of the Circle of Fortune. That would be the best solution for me, I think.

To my knowledge, there won't be any clan or guild system in 1.0, and no mention of it for future plans. But I agree with your best solution, it would be a system much better and easier to understand than resonances for most cases.
