Only able to summon one wolf

So it says my companion limit is 2, but I'm not able to summon a 2nd wolf. Am I missing something?

I could only summon a +different one, running with the Bear + Raptor.

if i remember correctly you have to get a passive point for have + 1 to wolves i think its wolfpack node or something, and there is unique that has +1 to wolves or something but it has to say wolf not companion

The companion limit is how many total companions between all skills, but each skill also has its own limit - for example only ever one bear, raptor, etc. As many crows as the limit.

Wolves have skill tree nodes that let you summon one more or up to the companion limit

As far as I can tell, your overall companion limit is independent of your per-skill summon limit. If you want multiple Wolves specifically, you'll need to take Pack Hunters and / or Safety in Numbers. The latter lets you have two Wolves while summoning two per cast, the former lets you have two Wolves and one non-Wolf, and taking both lets you summon three Wolves all at once. The latter also lets you have even more Wolves if you increase your companion limit by other means.

Yeah I didn't understand the wording.. "You can summon up to your companion limit." I thought this meant that I can summon up wolves up to my companion limit.
