How is the performance like with recommended specs? (GTX 1060 6GB)

How optimized is this game? Can anybody with a GTX 1060 6GB chime in? Can I have stable 60 FPS in every zone?

I saw footage on Youtube that did not look promising, but it's 1.5 years old so things might have changed by now.

Mostly its pretty smooth with random performance drops that are very noticeable. My laptop has a 1660ti, ryzen 7 4800H, 16GB RAM and a 1GB/s nvme .

ryzen 5 5600x rx 6700 game runs around 30-40 fps on some zones at worst 1080p, so probadly getting even worse for you before they really fix some ♥♥♥♥

on lowest settings? thanks for the response i'll wait and see if the official release adds some more performance before i buy.

Playing with a 1080 on Max and Im fine. Running with 90+ fps. You should be fine.

I've been in the (I want to upgrade but lets wait for the next gen of hardware) phase for the last 2-3 years, so I am rocking a quite old PC right now: I5 6600k, 1060 6Gb (desktop PC). So I am using the same card as you.
I have no problems and I am playing on the highest graphics. But there is a big disclaimer here. I don't need 120 fps to enjoy a game, as long as I have somewhere between 40 and 60 stable fps, I'm good.

I've got a 1060 GTX and had no Problems with performance. I dont know if it's consistently 60 FPS though.

The quality of the game in general is a completely different question.

thanks guys, i got the game and it's stable at 60 fps on medium graphics, no dips for now, late chapter 4.
my specs for future googlers:

r5 3600x
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB RAM 3200mhz
SSD

edit: drops to 40 FPS during empowered monos on lowest settings in some biomes.

i9 2070 32gb 30fps .... or less during any fight... idk tryed all stuff like ddu drivers etc just idk i gave up if its not gonna improve during 1.0 im droping this game which is greate tbh

1080 TI blablabla but most importantly a fast ssd. Its not a graphic heavy game, it looks good, nothing special but the gameplay is sweet so framecount doesnt matter imo unless you are slideshowing.
