as for the how much hope I have for the game, I'm expecting it to die pretty fast
Ain't it full online?
Obviously it has, what are you even talking about?
A modern release of a AAA game runs about $60 box price and has for almost 20 years.
Some publishers of AAA games have relatively recently confirmed that they are or soon will be raising the prices of their AAA games to $70, including EA, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Sony, Square Enix, Microsoft.
You can create offline characters, have no shared stash between online chars.
Obviously it has, what are you even talking about? [/quote]
Just how 34$ is AAA price?! Game even went on sales.
Your next post is gonna be "genderlocked characters, no buy".
Maybe in your country that's the case.
Here this game is definitely above the usual price tag for cheap game.
So far I have moslty seen negatives comments about this game.
I'm seriously thinking about buying it and I'm looking for some informed people that actually can tell what they plan to fix before the launch.
Do you mean noone here is informed and everyone would want to know answer but they don't?
no I mean we all realize it is not a aaa priced game and thus have the capability to not expect the features of a blizzard game in an indie priced game. For the price this is a very feature rich game. Could it have more? Sure but then they would have to charge appropriately for the increased dev time.
Not everyone can afford the money to just try the game, and even if they did, with the 2h Steam gives you, you may at most finish the prologue.
Which is intentional. They reworked the prologue for exactly that reason. It is the most polished part of the game.
In those 2 hours you dont see ♥♥♥♥ about the endgame, about late-game itemization, you will probably not see any of the games actual problems.
Which is why people usually look at criticisms first.
This person is literally doing the exact thing people get flak for when they dont do it and then complain "should have done your research and you'd known"
So what is the lesson here? Just buy and if you still think it sucks, you should have done more research? Or ask the community and be talked ♥♥♥♥ to because white knights feel the need to justify away all the games problems with "It's gonna get better, we swear!"
Anyway. I do agree that it's not an AAA game. But it's also not an indie game.
It's an A game? I mean Tencent invested into EHG to get the game going. SO there is significant backing behind it.
I'd say the game is currently not worth looking at too hard.
If you wanna have like 20h of building a character, finishing the story and maybe playing the endgame once, that's a fine scope, if you are looking for a deep build-driven game where you hunt for those exotic uniques that give you those niche but build-defining items, then it is not.
And if you push the endgame, then the game effectively becomes a Bullet Hell game, where your best bet at beating something is to be able to move out of effects that will most likely one-shot you, while, hopefully, having a build that needs so little attention, that you can do damage without using a whole lot of your braincells.
Where are you reading this? 90% of what you typed seems completely made up. the story and campaign are probably the area where they can imrpove the most. and they are working on that.
Itemization is about 100,000 miles ahead of d4. makes d4 looks bad.
loot filter again 100,000 miles ahead of d4. plenty of stash tabs.
more class customization than d4.
target farming is waaay better and crafting items is waaay better. than d4.
optimization seems pretty good. if it was unplayable then people wouln't play it. will have to see how there servers do on launch day.
combat feels good. graphics won't blow your mind or anything. but thats something that keeps getting better.
The endgame as far as i can see is just really good target farming and tough difficulty when it comes to corruption. not super stellar. but honestly a lot better than helltides imo.
and its $35. thats hardly AAA price and comes off as a troll question.
