Problems? every game has problems, so what?
The only thing sold separately are cosmetics that are there in case you want to support the devs and by no means necessary.
False - There is no true offline mode yet. The offline mode currently implemented still requires a log-in trough an online gate.
Cosmetics only MTX ? Yes it is not pay to win but it's just new way of manipulating players. Everyone wants to look cool in these games. The game has no transmog system, most of the items are still missing in-game models and none of the purchasable cosmetics are usable in offline mode (or true offline in the future).
You won't be able to play a lot of games in the future with this way of thinking, even if you're right about it. It's best to play but not buy anything. You'll ruin the game and the developers with that! You will then lose a game, but this game was only used to sell you skins and is no longer a game perse.
You mix drm and offline: your characters in offline mode are on your pc, game is hosted on your machine, if their game servers are down you can still play. So yes, there is an offline mode with steam DRM.
Cosmetic only MTX, yes. There is no manipulation, "everyone wants to look cool" it's your opinion, in fact... I don't care how a character looks in an isometric game where I can barely see my character. d4 costs 70 + 30 x each skin, poe is "free" but you even have to buy stash space if you want to play decently and, btw, I've been playing LE for a while and the look of the items isn't horrible, it's sure WAY better than what PoE gives you.
There is no paywall whatsoever, I don't even care about skins, it's just a way to support devs and I will probably buy some of them just for that, I'll most likely never use them.
If you feel offended by a game that costs less than half of d4 and has twice the content, endgame activities, 3 times the classes, more build variety and just cosmetics as mtx then it's your problem: don't play it, but it's not a scam as you want people to intend, it's actually an honest price.
Wow, not like I would waste my time with a Blizzard game, but D4 must be real horrible if your refering as "twice the content", because we only have monos, arena and dungeons and of course an unfinished campaign with 1.0 launch. So it is not considered a scam anymore when you release your games unfinished and possibly unpolished out of early access?
Nah, shouldn't be scam, maybe you are right, its only half the price after all :)
praises d4 because last epoch sells mtx and uses ep coins in a cheaper PREMIUM game yet so does d4, which cost 3 times as much making it MORE Premium, and D4s mtx cost as much as last epoch for SKINS.
Pretty sure op did not think that comparison though.

d4 is real horrible if you consider 4000 names in the credits, infinite resources and 70+ euro pricetag (+ mtx and paid expansions).
There isn't only mono, there is another activity already showed for 1.0... and it's already lot of content for a game not even released. What you want to compare it to? PoE? that's 12 years of updates, we can talk about "scam" if we don't see new content and improvements, as it is, it's a great starting point, I don't see the reason behind all this complaints, if for you it's not enough there is poe, come back later on to check.
What a strange way to agree with the person you quoted.
There is no manipulation. I would wager the guess that the majority of players feel zero pressure to buy MTX. I played PoE for hundreds of hours and only bought something when I wanted to give the dev money.
The appearance of the character really doesn't matter much in a cRPG where you don't even see any details on the character during gameplay. I don't know any cRPG which has transmog, except D4 I guess.
Diablo 4 costs 70$, has both a battlepass and MTX where a single skin costs as much as the most expensive edition upgrade in LE. No comparison with Last Epoch which has more content, costs 30$ and only has some skins which are completely optional.
Im banned in Blizzard company, so I cant play any of there games anymore....
Problem is not the skin itself. Problem is COINs, if I buy a skin I pay exact money. No more, No less. So lets say Skin cost 5€ but I need to buy 7€ worth of coins... then wtf i to with that 2€ they cant give it back
Ohm just by the way, the online mode is only there to sell you skins. Nothing else..
