Nerfing in an infinite scaling game.
So as far as I know corruption can scale to an infinite amount (Not literally) So how can items be "overpowered" in a game that the item will eventually become obsolete as the game will eventually make it not matter how strong an item is as you'll just die.

At the top end of corruption LE becomes a bullet hell.

Just like at the bottom end it is "balanced" around moving out of the way of attacks intended to one shot you.

Although corruption changes are planned, no idea what or how this will impact things though, or even if most players will reach such levels.

Edit: that same user has an unedited video up on their channel showing you the real time if you are curious.

They aren't anyway. Other than some key uniques, items really don't impact that much compared to your lvl 100 passives and skills. And running insanely high corruption will never be equal to insanely high item drops anyway, you are better of the intended 100-500 corruption zone for farming tbh.
This is the kind of game you just level up to 100 and then go play a different character to 100 or just play something else. The whole corruption/monolith mechanic has some major flaws that will hurt replayability and sustain of the game, unless they do some serious reworks with seasonal updates.

yes, totally agree. No real reason to play on high corruptions right now.
