As a Diablo player and a recent player of D4 Season 2: The Season of Easy, my advice is to stick with Last Epoch and it's meticulously crafted gameplay and systems. I'd rather be playing this than some preschool ARPG.

Kinda noticing anyone who speaks bad of Diablo 4 is just getting banned. Literally, you wrote up nothing that will warrant a ban but it happened anyway. Funny how Diablo 4 is so trash that their players won't even play it and will just go to forums to mass report.

You can't get banned for being critical of games. You can get banned for abusive behaviour (among other things) I suspect the OP broke a rule we are not privy to. Unless you think EHG are running defence for Blizzard ?? Which would seem an odd conspiracy theory tbh

I think mods can just do whatever they want. I was making fun of one and he pretty much chain banned me for like two weeks. No regrets.

For those of you that do not know, being banned in three different forums in any span of time equals getting a ban from the entire Steam Community for a time. Don't know if it's the same amount of time as your last ban, more, or less. Now, OP may not have an active ban in other forums, but not all of bans are a conspiracy.

This said the moderation on the Steam forums is completely arbitrary, and pure garbage.

Well 'making fun of people' is against posting rules on steam, so that there absolutely IS ban worthy. And no they can't 'do whatever they want' lets be real most forum users regularly flirt with rule breaking on a daily basis. Even sarcastically replying to someone and arguing is technically ban worthy, the rules exist so if your being disruptive and a **** a mod can (and will) ban you. I have copped many bans on other steam forums, and I deserved all of them, had only myself to blame.

Point is nobody here is banning people for s***posting about D4, it wouldn't make any sense.

You have to be a bit careful here. You need to take a game's budget into account. For example, imagine one game with a budget of $4 million and a revenue of $10 million vs a game with a budget of $40 million and a revenue of $20 million.

That said, the last words about either this game nor Diablo 4 has been said yet, so we will have to wait.

I'll be honest here, gonna break internet kayfabe and everything for a minute, unlike most of the people on here, I don't care what strangers on the internet think of me, I pretty much just make jokes or laugh at people who are being stupid or taking themselves too seriously about video games. It's what I do, and I'm fine with it. It's just kind of crazy to think that people with a tiny ounce of power will never abuse it when I regularly see it online and off regularly, but go off, king.

Steam volonteer forum mods are power tripping pretty often.
Other day I got warning for offensive post on CoH3 forum for telling a guy that he will eventually end up on his ELO level if he keeps playing and that was whole post.
