Not sure if it's bugged but I did get my 350EP. I could be wrong but I think sence the shop is live now. Buying the game doesn't give 350 ep anymore.
Like I said could be wrong about that.
I should've clarified i bought the game way before the update, roughly 1 month ago.
Ty for the info tho.
The cutoff might have been before 0.9.0, which was over a month ago.
I may be mixing some of that up in my head though
Looking at what's available now, I can't imagine any of the stuff coming close to worth the asking price. The cheapest items are 50 points or roughly $5.
According to mike the lead developer over on the discord:
"The ones we put more oomph and pizzaz into end up being priced higher. So for example, the top pack has a back slot which has these nice animations that go with it and is much more over the top than the Traveler pack which looks super cool but doesn’t have an animation that goes with it and is relatively less flashy."
Really strange because according to Judd the CEO:
"As with all things, art and design are subjective in nature, so what’s fantastic and exciting to one person may not be to the next. There can be some levels of understanding of “This item is more grandiose than this item,” but at its core, humans are so varied and unique in their perceptions that we’re never perfectly aligned in what we think is “cool” or “worth it”."
Seems like EHG used an objective measure to determine "subjective" value.
Prices are arbitrary
Things are priced based on how much time was spent creating them
As always the problem with online cosmetics is, that once created, they can be sold infinitely, so effectively, they could sell it for 1$ if they assume their entire playerbase buys it at this price
According to EHG it is both arbitrary and based on the time spend creating them, because words only have as much meaning as we give them.
