For all the skills, radius or area
I know this sounds like a troll question, but I am really curious: suppose we look at a skill whose nodes give +300% increased area. Does the radius get double, or quadrupled? Can't find any discussion on this after a quick search.

I mean, in games I will normally assume that area means radius (bye, math teachers), but there are quite some cases in which the animation looks like +100% area doesn't double the radius. Of course, animation can have their restriction, so I wonder :p

The Radius multiplier is the square root of the area multiplier.
So +300% area (area*4) translates to +100% radius (radius*2).
And +100% area (area*2) translates to +41.4% radius (radius*sqrt(2)).

Thank you!! Once you say so, it seems pretty much the case by testing with dummies. Looks like I've been wrongly assuming they are substituting area for radius for so long!

Will nevertheless appreciate if somebody has a pro insight for a definite testing and/or some reference for this :p

Not sure though, 20% area would be hard to notice, but you really do notice an increase. I think is radius based on my experience, but maybe is not consistent.

+20% area when you have nothing, sure. But if you already have +200% area, that extra 20% will be barely noticeable. There's a big diminishing return radius wise.
