umm. no UI, no help, no hotbars... what to do?

I just downloaded and installed this game. Created a.. whatever the base type for a beastmaster is... started the game and.. umm.. cool! Looks nice! But there is no UI.. no hot bars, no health indicators, nothing. Sometimes tooltips pop up pointing to a blank area on the screen (like potions, but no potions show). ESC brings up nothing.

Is there somewhere to turn on the UI? There isn't even key/ui to escape/close out/log out of the game (I tried all the letters and numbers on the keyboard).

Just to add, I am running the game at 3440x1440.

Think it's the delete button or something like that, there's a hotkey to disable ui. Had it happen to me when I was playing with a friend and they had to look into the hotkey settings for me.

Have no clue why a "disable ui" hotkey turns off the escape menu as well tbh since if you hit it on accident you have no way of checking how to turn it off.
