Any passive Build?
I like to play these kinds of games with one hand, because work has messed up my hands. So I'm wondering if there's any build which needs little to no key inputs? Like a summoners build where the minions don't die, or some kind of aura build?

Spin2win builds probably your best pick. Sentinel void knight warpath or paladin warpath. Press a single button and don't unpress till you win. With gamepad you can even loot stuff easy, easier than playing on KB&M at least. Not the strongest builds but it's alright, i've played VK warpath, nice braindead build for lazy play. Don't know anything about summoners so maybe someone can tell you about them, but i'm pretty sure warpath builds are the most braindead you can play.

Summoner are quite passive until late game. But at the end, if skeletton you need to add on them boost which degen them so need refresh and "accurate" click. Golem, casting on it in order to make him retaliate quite intensive for max effect. Exploding mage skeletton need just to spawn skeletton (so clicking one touch repetively when they explode), maybe best pick for you;)
Others builds are possible but less effective;)

Totems.

lol I have a minion build where they never die and you never need to reclick them. Minions are bound to Q, W, E, and R and rarely die. Just need to use Bone Curse with right click, and move with mouse, pick up with left click. Very one-handed build. (I think you can bind potions to an extra button on mouse if you want)

Just use permanent wraiths and abomination, skeletons, bone golems, and bone curse. GG!

Thanks for the suggestions! I appreciate it.

Ok, that sounds like the interaction in a minion build in Path of Exile. Hopefully you don't have to spam the bone curse. Ideally I would have zero clicks lol. But voiceattack helps alot.

I assume this is the same as minions/spintowin where you run around and cast them using one button.?

Minion builds are not really new player friendly once you hit empowered monoliths. You get stuck with constantly dying minions if you dont give them boosts to leech from wearing certain uniques and giving them tons of HP. Plus dmg will suffer so often times you will be stuck going into the active playstyle of dread shade and flame wraith minion builds to clear content at higher levels.

Totems or a warpath spin build would suit you better since some of those builds dont require alot and can be played with 1 hand entirely.

It's not hard to get the proper gear to not have minions dying like crazy. I think by the time a "new" player got to that point they'd be able to figure it out...

You can totally 100% play without ANY button presses using a minion build if you want (it just might not be as good). Bone Curse makes things die faster but you don't need it. Use it a few times to summon your Vanguards if you want and you're done.

If you wanted to not use Bone Curse at all, you could replace it with Skeleton Mage, and get like the single one or something. In order to have a permanent Abomination you can't have more than 5 Skeleton Mages/Warriors/Archers/Rogues; I already take the node to get half skeleton Warriors/Archers (depending on how I feel at the time) but they are bigger and stronger, and I get 9, so half of that is 4.5, rounded up to 5. You could instead put points somewhere else and only get to 7 (divided by 2 is 3.5 rounded up to 4) so your 5th you could use the node for a single Skeleton Mage. You could put the extra points you would have used to get one more Archer/Warrior into making them stronger, and then you have a permanent mage.

You could even get Vanguards from other sources as well such as putting a few points in the Lich passive tree, if you really wanted to.

There's a cold mage build out there that's great for what you're looking for. You summon a single mage, and you mage kills everything for you. The problem is that it requires a lot of uniques.

Have you tries using a controller? I have carpal tunnel in my left hand as well, and the controller was a godsend for me.

That's encouraging, tiamats4esgares. I'm happy to see some discussion about it, since I hope the game would offer some freedom to experiment.

Yeah, I actually play with a controller. My work is writing subtitles. In my free time I recently finished writing a book and I play video games to relax. This was too much of a strain and I have a hard time using the controller with my right hand for too long.

If you want to alleviate your hands a bit, may I suggest VoiceAttack? It can easily help you do tasks that are not too time sensitive, such as summoning minions, buffing and accessing menus. I even use it for stuff like dodging though, since I am fine not being as accurate, I'm still having fun.

Also, if you ever want a different kind of movement, the gyro can function as a control stick. Though I think the thumbstick is still less taxing in the long run. :KneelingBow:

Yeah, a lot of builds can work in this game. My build isn't "meta" but I do just fine with it. I think a lot of people follow build guides because they come from games like Path of Exile where they just assume you need to, but in Last Epoch you don't. A lot of things can work. And just because I've never tried some kind of 5 permanent minion skill build with nothing else, that doesn't mean it can't work. My 4 permanent minion build works fine, so why not?

I'm so jealous, my dream job. I love typing and I love watching movies and shows (even though I realize that might get boring) but I also love grammar.

If you have a 5 button mouse you should be able to bind your abilities to it.
Middle mouse, 4, 5, mouse wheel Up, and mouse wheel down gives you enough to bind all of your abilities and potions to the mouse. (Assuming LE allows binding abilities to the scroll wheel).

That's true. I should probably have specified that the less button presses the better.

If you have access to an mmo mouse and it is comfortable, you can remap all keybindings to your mouse buttons. Or to better keys on your keyboard. I have joint problems and that is what I do to help mitigate pain.

"No clicking at all"? This game does not have WASD control, so unless you use a gamepad, that's gonna be a hard one.
