Are the servers down or something? I am getting this error saying the client needs to update but I don't see any updates available on steam. Help please.

they released right now 3gb update for the game

Same here, restarted both steam and computer 3 times...

fixed it with a manual validating of files in steam client

On the game store page (on Steam), go to the admin icon -> Properties

In the panel that pops up, Installed files -> verify integrity of game files.

It will do the verification and proceed to update the game

Game recently updated, all files verified, still or naked character, or le65, or le77.

ive been getting LE 65 since launch....did everything that was listed to fix it and still get online....what a horrble experience
