Gear - Primary stats
Individual pieces of gear don't roll more than a single primary stat do they? I'm new and just got gifted the game a few days ago.

So far, I haven't seen a single item with strength and dexterity, or any pair of two main stats at all.

I just wanted to come here and clarify whether this is the case though. I don't know if item rolls change depending on the level the item is, or any special condition, etc.

Thanks for your time.

Any item that can have one stat can have another, and they can definitely have 2, it happens a lot. I can't believe WOZ claims he's never seen it. But yeah, STR/DEX/INT, etc, they don't care what the item is or what class it's for or anything. If it can be on that item, it's just as likely to be on it as any other stat. And you can definitely see 2 on one item.

It is possible to find them with strength, dexterity, intelligence, etc, although I've never seen an item drop with 2 primary stats on it,

Have a look at these guides as you're better off utilising the crafting to fine tune items you do find into items you want them to be.

Edit : Correcting myself, I have seen Int and Vitality on an item so 2 primary is possible but not common, crafting would give you an easier way of getting it.

Every item can have two major and two minor affixes.

Primary stat should be major so it should be possible to have two.

The primary stats can be found on
Helmet
Body Armour
Boots
Ring
Gloves
Relic

Dexteriety can also be found on quivers.

However in most cases you are only interested in one primary stat, shift or ctrl i think at a skill to see what it scales with.

Intelligence for mage/acolyte
Strength for physical primalist/knight
Attunement for magical primalist/knight
Dexteriety for thief.

Couldnt be more wrong......

While every class has a primary stat that most is the IMportant, they ALL Need some vitality for Hitpoints and in many cases a secondary Stat. Many skills scale with multiple stats with different effects (for example Damage goes up with Strengt, Duration with Attunement).

Also every main stat gives you more things. Dex for example gives dodge. Or attunement gives Mana. Depending on classes and build it can be better to Rise a Attribute that add raw Manapool or DOdge

Might have forgot to include vitality in that list but it's the only that that's shared across all classes.

Otherwise my list is focused on the stats that scale with the respective classes abilities.

Like hardly any primalist ability scales with intelligence, it's all attunement.

true but if you played primalist you see ALOT scales with Strength AND Attunement or Vitality. Mostrly depends on what skills you use and how you build it. You will need BOTH strenght AND attunement.
