Easy and chill but would be more fun if minion collision was fixed to where they dont push bosses and can all get even hits in instead of bumping into eachother waiting in line to swing.
Poison marksman was okay too but it was a lot of running around trying not to get one shot in empowered for that one.
They are all fun in their own ways.
Fire sorc went on the shelf after i made the lightning sorc tho.
My newest is a spellblade but i havent leveled that one far, and i have not decided how to build it yet.
But I like minion builds because I like being the "support" and watching my minions do the dirty work! :D
Ye exactly.. too much melee right now just kills you on dmg but at the same time so do ranged mages and archers... Because they often just fire and something dies before the hit lands or the hit misses because the mob moves. Noticed alot of that with ranged mages.
This works similarly for melee minions. How many times is a melee minion running to a mob, only for it to die before they get there? And that's in addition to them blocking each other. I'm just testing out the archers now but so far it seems OK. Theoretically their DPS in boss fights should be high because they never have to move when the boss does and constantly just attacking.
Wolf Pack Beastmaster: All wolves, all the time. Get the skills that allow the wolves to cast Howl when hit and cast Lightning. With 4+ wolves both those things happen quite often; I barely ever have to cast Howl myself.
Cinder Blasting Marksman: Max'd out Fire Daggers (I think that's what they're called). Fun as all heck. Only downsides is that she's kind of fragile, and for the fan of fire daggers to be most effective she needs to be in medium range.
Mass of Minions Necromancer: Already plenty posted about this one. Twin Fire Golems, Skeletal Mages, permanent Wraiths, Archer Skeletons (switched from all Warriors).
Paladin: DW, max out the Retribution passive, use Thorn affixes, Vengeance with Riposte tree max'd out. Add in Javelin with Holt Trail (I think that's the name; does Lightning and Fire DoT and heals you to boot). He hardly ever takes any serious damage and can go toe-to-tow with any boss (so far; he hasn't met Lagon yet).
