Shared Empowered Monolith Progression Between Characters?
Can we have that? Any plans?

I'm enjoying the game a lot, but the thing that is preventing me from testing new classes is the monolith progression. From my personal experience, monolith progression feels more like a lazy barrier than anything else. The playerbase is not made just by hardcore players, 30 hours per character is a lot of time for most of us. That said, I would like to know if you guys have any plans surrounding it, maybe to cut down stability requirements so players would still need to do the 3 quests for each monolith all the way to empowered.

I know this can't be priority rn, but god knows how many casual players could be enjoying the game for more time if replayability were a bit less time-wasting.

Agreed, this is the reason I leveled 4 diff chars up to the monolith point and then went with the one I liked best.

Tbf tho, you end the campaign between 50 - 60 with the "ideal" cutoff being 58 (according to the way they set it up), while my current build could easily do level 100 at level 70, some of my other builds not so much. I would have to run lower ones gradually going up anyway and since the echos are so short, it's just the bosses that take up most of the time doing them again.

Actually once you reach the monolith quest, you can stop playing already. Beyond that it's just hardcore grinding for the sake of min max (Something casual players don't do, real casual don't even play more than 1 character... Steam statistics show only 15% of players actually "complete" their game, any game).

Casuals not necessarily gonna play only one build, but they will take a fair longer time to do so. I have 400 hours of Grim Dawn, 3 characters in endgame, 60% achievements completed (never do games for achievements), but in 3 years of sparse gameplay. I mean, the focus of LE is clearly Monoliths/Dungeon farming and build testing. The campaign is as weak as in any other Live Service, it simply wont be the main attractive for this game. I have 30 hours since 0.9, two weeks ago, and I'm not even near to close my build in any way.

This is one of the things that annoy me the most, ive always loved playing different builds, in both POE and this. I currently have 3 characters between lvl 70 -90, and only one in empowered monoliths but I feel like im forced to play that one char if I wanna farm some unique's with legendary potential. I would love if they added this.
