i have a few questions
1 is this game going to be a "standard character" based with expansions each x timeor a league/season game

2 is there a moment where you are clearly done with your character

3 are there uniques where you build around it or uniques are boosters to a certain skill

4 is there a roadmap of planned features?

thanks, im have done googlefu but i havent found a concise answer to this

2) Ah, probably not if you want it to be perfect...and even then I don't think that's possible. 4) Hmm, not an official roadmap anymore but I can list some items they're working on adding up to and with 1.0:
  • Item Factions[forum.lastepoch.com] system
  • the remaining masteries (Runemaster, Warlock, and Falconer)
  • the remaining missing skills (1 for Shaman, 1 for Primalist, 2 for Paladin, 2 for Rogue, 1 for Bladedancer, and 1 for Marksman) with some other skills receiving reworks
  • many more online features (towns, leaderboards, cosmetic MTX store, etc.)
  • further story, cutscenes, voice acting, environment, enemy, combat, performance, etc improvements and additions
  • adding passives threshold node system to all passive trees
  • likely more that I'm forgetting

Then after 1.0 we know of these items so far:
  • Chapters 10-12 (though chapter 10 could still come prior to 1.0, just not known at this time)
  • more endgame modes and content (more dungeons, expanding Monolith of Fate, Lost Memories, Favor System, etc.)

1. Both, this game will have seasons, and content expansions. However, they're adding a in-game store for cosmetic items which will allow for said content expansions to be free of charge. (Like PoE)

2. This 100% depends on you. There is enough things to do to keep you going for a bit. Think of PoE. When you think you're done. They always add more things to do. This game will be similar. You just have to remember, they're still developing core mechanics of the game. Therefore, you might "complete" a build/play through before they have time to add more things to do.

3. Yes, this game has set items that enhance certain aspects of builds/classes. (They appear green in-game)

4. There really isn't a current "new" road map.
