Can't see friends chat or do MP

I understand the multiplayer just got added, but we are having all sorts of issues trying to connect, let alone see each other's chat.

We live in the same home, can play MP on every other game just fine, just not this game.
We cannot see private message sent to one another, unable to add each other to friends list, and cannot create a MP game.

It would be a nice feature if the devs would create a simple MP interface, and instead of seeing the account name over heads, let us see the player name instead?

Maybe it is just how their engine or coding design chose to do things, but it is not very user friendly at the moment. Really wanted to give this game a try with multiplayer, but with these basic things creating such problems as not being able to see each other's chat, or one person can chat and the other cannot, is just mind boggling.

So what we are noticing, as soon as 1 of us in the same home logs out of the game, the other person can see chat, and communicate,, but as soon as the other person on the home logs back in to the live service, that person cannot see chat or interact.

No idea how or why this is, seeing as you require us to log in to the account to play the game in Online mode.

If any dev is willing to respond and help, we would like to know and understand what might be causing this to happen, with 2 people living in same home, but cannot interact with each other in an online session.

It is like somehow, the coding is set up to not allow our modem/router combo box that we get from our ISP to pass information between your online server and back to our separate hard wired computers in the home, that each have their own IP addresses assigned by the router/modem.

This is litterally the only game we have this issue with in terms of playing co-op or mulitplayer, so this tells me it may be a coding issue on your end.
