Volatile Zombie - Pull of the Grave

I'm currently level 35, building a necromancer and I want to use volatile zombies for my mana dump. I saw some builds using pull of the grave, is it really that strong? Instakill enemies with 16% remaining health doesn't sound that big, since they will probably die with the next attack anyway.

But I might be wrong, or is it more like and endgame passive?

I am currently playing online as a Necromanse pure minion build and use the volatile Zombie as my RMB cast, with that node. currently completed the campaign and have started in the monoliths. Current level 67 and just got her resistances to around the 75% mark on all of them.

When you're fighting tougher mobs or a boss that 16% threshold makes a huge difference. Bearing in mind how squishy the necromancer herself is, it can be the difference between a win or failure if you are not paying attention.... also worth noting when you have a high minion health bonus, those volatile Zombies can last a while, spewing poison onto the npc mobs.

Not sure about LE, but its common for bosses to be most deadly when they are low health, so skipping the last 16% of their HP bar is a pretty big buff. You are correct in that it's not that useful for trash mobs.
