why do you need more. this isnt wow or poe. its likely done for balance and making balancing easier.
for normal attacks you dont need it once you have your build going. tbh its not even needed after you gain a few lvls
Plus why on earth would you want to use basic attack when you get an upgraded version at level 5?
Interesting replies i see here under OP's thread.
Everyone arguing why someone would need more than 5 skills.
While literally every ARPG or at least every noteworthy ARPG is giving you more skills to actively set to a button and use.
This gives me the impression that you guys only defend this design choice out of your biased take towards this game. Which is fine if you love the game you play. But objectively seen, this isn't something you could argue as a "ARPG thing"
OP is right you know guys.
I just tried this game and feels more like some sort of mobile game with this weird and very limited controls. Especially since you have 6 control inputs/actions available on the hotbar but can only use 5 skills.
Feels like a very strange design choice
You can bind skills to all 6 slots so you cna use 6 different skills + 1/2 for some classes that autocast additional abilities under certain conditions.
REad what it states when you click / hover over the move button...
