What do I mean? well when you can take apart the endgame bosses with basic boots there is not a lot of incentive to grind out a characters gear. There are not really a lot of things to go in general. Story-shallow and incomplete. Area for that pve rush. Dungeons but see above about gear so I guess if you want to enjoy the dungeon specific gimmicks. Endgame is zoom to the boss and then do it again.
If you are concerned I mean extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence just let me know I got the videos, including the developer confirming they are 100% true.
Maybe later, and I mean way way way later. Right now no. LE is super casual, you have basically 97% of your player power by the time the incomplete story spits you into "endgame" So you can go and get gear but you have next to zero use for it. There is a quick video about the Biggest Problem by Lizardirl, give it a watch if you want to see just how bad it is.
Suppose someone might play it throuugh once for the story, but that is generally not why people play these types of games... i think..
that was a very eye-opening video. thanks for sharing that. i wonder why no one else is talking about this? if gear is basically useless, it really takes a lot of fun out the game. arpgs are supposed to be mostly about the loot hunt.
Personnally I like to reroll and test new builds, I have something like 30 characters, none of them have reached max level (at most reached near 90) and I'm happy with what the game provides as content.
On the other end, I find that running dungeons/monoliths to push one character quickly feels repetitive, so I imagine if you're the type of player who like to have only one, very powerfull character, you will get bored at some point.
To compare: uninstalled the game after 10-ish hous. where I play Undecember for hundred+ hours already because it offer end-game fun right off the bat. Leveling simply improves the gameplay, doesn't suggest new ways (which I'v already figured out from watching YT videos which weren't available in 90s)
Well people used to blame that specific build but we also got this.

Then people continued to move the goal post, then we got these.

Then people said but its EA the developers will fix it, and the general response was check the patch notes and show me where the fix is, well from the people who have actually seen the various videos. There even is a few on youtube there people take apart T4 Jurla (the strongest boss) sub 7 seconds.
People are pretty unaware about things and its hard to judge them given EHG likes to dole out information on the official forums, discord, reddit, random replies to unrelated posts, and sneak major announcements into otherwise unrelated announcements, interviews with content creators, user streams etc. I believe this to be the plausible deniability defense.
Edit: just for clarity after this situation started to gain traction, the developers said it would be fixed. *applause* then they went and increased player power via levels so make of it what you will. Personally I think its all lip-service and they have no intention of fixing it despite saying they would.
Look around here, you still have people thinking that offline mode is actually offline when its just single player. Now you can say hey I want 98% of my player power to come from levels and hey that's fair, no shade, but lets call a spade a spade.
I really like to hear what you like about the game. Your last 10000000000 posts on the game has only been bad things, so don't get way you stay around?
