Yaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnn
PoE is the one exception. The others (D2, D3, Torchlight, Grim Dawn, Titan Quest) are all just too old and outdated. And Wolcen is just anemic right now.
No one promised LE would be the next best thing since sliced bread. It's fun for a few dozen hours, then you move on. Not sure what you were expecting...
But compared to other arpgs it still has a chance at a second place who knows
both D2 and D3 look better than this game. D2 got remastered and D3 still has more details and variety in it's enemies and environments.
Doesn't matter how ''outdated'' they are when last epoch looks like it was made a decade ago anyway.
Of course nothing compares to when diablo 1 came out and i was a young lad..
But this is the most fun i have had playing these kind of games in a while..
Modern day RPGs are supposed to offer end-game speedrun mechanics (like "spin to win") from the beginning, with the character simply growing more and more powerful over time.
That is pretty much what LE delivers though, you get so much player power from leveling up that you can go mostly gear-less and take apart timeline bosses, or roll into high end corruption and start peeling off your items and unspecing your skills with no issue.
leveling is super slow tbh in D3 after 2 hours you can do end game . here it is a grind to level get to end game so i think its ok for money but they missed the point. POE prob does it better
