Fireball is single target?

If that's true then it should be renamed to Firebolt. But i'd rather take AoE Fireball. I haven't gotten into the skill specialization yet, i'll update this if there's something to make Fireball AoE.

I would also like to know. I usually play mage classes, and Fireball is a staple aoe attack.

What is weird is that fireball when you do it pointblank, it doesnt register to what infront of you.

World on flmaes node or wehatever its actually called gives you 25% chance per point invested to spread flames to nearby enemies in a dot form and its pretty good for trash clear. Thats about the extent of "aoe" but it still works pretty well. Invest points into its damage and it increases that damage. I was playing a dot version of sorcerer and enjoyed it for how far i got.

fireball in my experience is more single target than aoe in games. first game that comes to mind is WoW, fireball is single target

Fireball can be modified by skill passives to whatever u want. Single, Aoe, Crit, multi projectiles, flametrower and stingers.
