Text Speed

I want to read the dialog for the characters talking but waiting for the text scroll is mind numbing. I end up wanting to skip as opposed to wait to read what they have to say.

Any idea if its an option or if maybe a dev sees this it could be updated.

Yes, it's too slow right now. They need a setting for it.

literally zero control over text. At least make the first LMB click to load the entire text instead of straight up skipping the whole dialogue.

go download some visual novel and copy them please.

100% needs an option for instant text. I can read far faster and other games have trained me to click to seed the full text faster only this ends up making me skip dialogue. feelsbadman.

I really want to read the story, but the text just appears waaaay to slow to make for a good read.

I read all of Grim Dawn's story before I started playing multiplayer, and I'm interested in doing the same with Last Epoch. In games that offer a very slow full regenerative heal, I'll wait 10 minutes in a nook off to the side in the middle of a mission rather than use a healing item, so I'm pretty patient.

But the text in Last Epoch has defeated me with its slowness. Sigh.

Why ANY game dev would choose to put an arbitrary text speed and leave that as the ONLY option is mindboggling. If you're going to make it fixed to one setting, make it appear instantly and let players advance to the next set of text. That at least would adapt to every player's reading speed. As it is, I can read at least 2-3x faster than the default speed in this game.

What an incredibly stupid decision on behalf of the dev. Really, really stupid, and unnecessarily annoying for players.

Yea super annoying that every time I click the text it skipps it rather than completes it first so I can read it faster.
