The classes generally have 2 to 3 damage types they can focus on, outside of that you can't do creative builds. Like you can't do a void focused mage they are purely elemental.
Bladedancers are poison and bleed based I believe (and just straight phys damage)
(Ofc at that time we expected Release end of 2022.. after 2020 and 2021 got delayed..)
As for OP's question, unless there is a unique/set item that converts your damage type to void, or a passive node in a skill tree that converts to void, then no. Bladedancers mostly specialize in DoT/ crit damage(with dual wield if you want to) archetypes. You can try Void Knight for void damage or:
You can do a void volcanic orb build with this unique item and it is a pretty common drop, you might find it with 2/3 LP. The item:

As I said you can only really play the classes the way they want them played. There isn't much room for experimentation. And you know thats fine I suppose. D3 is much the same and its the 19th best selling game of all time.
But the OP was clearly looking for ways to build completely off meta and creatively and LE currently doesn't support that. Who knows in future it might, but I can't see it cause of the limitations of the underlying systems.
Take that item you linked, I mean ok cool its a start. But the class has no other support for Void damage and no other items which convert damage to void. So until the devs add that in its a functionally useless item.
Games like GD handle things differently all damage can be converted to anything (pretty much) so if you want to play a caster/mage who's spells deal physical trauma damage (normally reserved for melee skills) you can with the right items. And as items are not class locked there are few limits on what you can do. Partly this is down to the mastery system and dual classing but its also just a really cleverly designed base system.
