it helps to stop bots wont stop all of them but will be less. well as players scamming others and needing to use a third party app/site to trade.
I want to be able to trade so I can deterministically attain build-enabling items that are otherwise only attainable through RNG.
Anything beyond that seems like a net negative. If you've played Path of Exile for long you'll be well aware that there are "hideout heros" who play that game exclusively by trading items, to the detriment of people who actually want to play the damn game. People engage in price fixing, scamming, exploiting newbies, etc and GGG utterly fails to fix it.
So I'm fine with limited trade, I'm fine with somewhat limited drop rates in exchange, whatever keeps the gold farmers from buying up all the best items for in-game currency and holding them hostage for a cash ransom.
Not having trade at all, though, means that finding a cool build online and wanting to try it out yourself may be impossible if you don't already have a copy of the necessary build-enabling uniques. It means hording a copy of every unique and set piece you ever find because you might need it later, resulting in a bloated stash full of primarily garbage.
Edit: Also use an auction house that automatically sets prices for items based on the stats that item has instead of whatever price the player sets. You know there are going to be people price gouging by buying up all the best stuff and then putting it back up for 10x what they paid for it.
And my main complain is not about trade system but instead about Falconer, Runemaster and Warlock masteries are still missing
Trade on the other hand....
