If unless you are burning for something to play my personal advise would be to wait for the next sale AFTER 1.0, of course your desire for what you want out of LE might be different.
Not exclusive to LE but with any EA game is to check out the most glowing positive review you can find AND the most negative, assume both are 100% true and judge for yourself.
i uh. im not sure you read my statement correctly. i'll try to clarify:
im asking
1. does the game go on sale
2. do the developers still update the game on a regular basis
The Steam Summer Sale[forum.lastepoch.com] from June 23rd - July 7th was previously announced to be the final sale for Last Epoch during its early access period.
Also, questions about a future Steam sale were brought up during the September 15, 2022 Multiplayer Dev Q&A with Steelmage[forum.lastepoch.com] stream and Judd, EHG CEO and LE Game Director, said this:
The next update, patch 0.9, is releasing March 9th, 2023. You can read more about it and the scheduled events leading up to it in the December 2022 Development Blog.[forum.lastepoch.com]
You said the price is irrational, assume the quality is poor, and assumed the game's abandoned by the devs. Your OP was full of implication.
Diablo 4 is going to be twice as much as Last Epoch, and isn't coming out until 2 months after originally thought (June, not April) so...
