It's December 7th and according to price history at gg deals there should be some discount?

I'm confused. gg deals says the current (and lowest) price ever is $34.99, this matches what I see on steam today. Where is it saying there is supposed to be a discount today?

scroll down and you should see "Price History of Last Epoch", they usually drop some discounts in June-July and December.

I have no idea why they marked full prices as "best", might be something with raising price and system confusion?

It looks like last year the sale was from December 22 - Early January. I would assume since Last Epoch wasn't part of the last sale, if history repeats itself, we'll see it as part of the christmas / new year's sale again.

Just wanted to add to this. The Steam Summer Sale[forum.lastepoch.com] from June 23rd - July 7th was previously announced to be the final sale for Last Epoch during its early access period.

The Steam Summer Sale has just arrived and with it comes the final early access sale for Last Epoch! This will be the last time you see Last Epoch on sale for quite a while so if you haven’t already, now is the best time to join us.

Also, questions about a future Steam sale were brought up during the September 15, 2022 Multiplayer Dev Q&A with Steelmage[forum.lastepoch.com] stream and Judd, EHG CEO and LE Game Director, said this:

Steelmage: People keep asking about a Steam sale.

Judd: Ah yeah, so we did announce that we were going to have our last sale up to 1.0 recently. We don’t want to go back on that. We will have sales in the future for sure, especially when we’re doing events similar to this but the price right now is locked in up until 1.0.
