Can somebody answer me this question. do the Monoliths have to be empowered for these specific Unique's to drop?

I know where these things drop, but i couldn't really find anything that states if they are exclusive to Empowered Monoliths. can any one help me out, cheers

Random Unique/Set Item Drops

Culnivar's Claim[www.lastepochtools.com] is a random drop Unique that can technically drop in any zone that is level 50+ because its item level is 50.

Bastion of Honor[www.lastepochtools.com] is a random drop Unique that can technically drop in any zone that is level 50+ because its item level is 50.

To improve your odds of these dropping you can do the following:

• get the Grand Winds of Fortune[www.lastepochtools.com] blessing from the Fall of the Outcasts timeline, which grants "(16-22)% Increased Unique Drop Rate".
  
• get the Grand Savior of the North[www.lastepochtools.com] blessing from the Blood, Frost, and Death timeline, which grants "(50-90)% Increased Sceptre Drop Rate". These blessings result in more items of that type dropping while not reducing the drop rates of any other item types.
  
• get the Grand Binds of Sanctuary[www.lastepochtools.com] blessing from The Stolen Lance timeline, which grants "(35-75)% Increased Shield Drop Rate". These blessings result in more items of that type dropping while not reducing the drop rates of any other item types.
  
• farm The Stolen Lance timeline when trying for Culnivar's Claim, whose exclusive echo rewards[www.lastepochtools.com] consist of Wands, Sceptres, Staves, and Catalysts. Increasing corruption and venturing further from the center of the timeline will increase the likelihood of these echoes spawning.
  
• farm The Black Sun timeline when trying for Bastion of Honor, whose exclusive echo rewards[www.lastepochtools.com] consist of Helmets and Shields. Increasing corruption and venturing further from the center of the timeline will increase the likelihood of these echoes spawning.
  
• build up corruption[forum.lastepoch.com] and enemy modifiers within timelines (preferably Empowered Timelines) to increase the "increased item rarity" stat. This modifier increases the average number of affixes on items, resulting in more Rare and Exalted items. It also increases the chance of finding Unique and Set items.
  
• lastly, you can use the Rune of Ascendance[forum.lastepoch.com] on any sceptre base type item (that isn't already a Unique/Set item) for a chance to roll any random drop Unique or Set item of that type for Culnivar's Claim OR use it on any shield base type item (that isn't already a Unique/Set item) for a chance to roll any random drop Unique or Set item of that type for Bastion of Honor. This is the most expensive option here as these runes are quite rare, so this is more of a last resort option.

Doing all of these will maximize your odds of finding these items, and you can apply this logic for all random drop Unique/Set items in the game -- substituting blessing changes where needed if the item(s) are of a different type or whose exclusive echo reward belongs to a different timeline.


Boss Specific Unique/Set Item Drops

Stormcarved Testament[www.lastepochtools.com] is a boss specific drop that has a chance to drop after killing Lagon in the Ending the Storm timeline. This item is not empowered specific so it can drop from both the normal and empowered versions of the timeline, and its drop rate only scales with the timeline's "increased item rarity".

Increasing the timeline's corruption and active enemy modifiers will increase the timelines "increased item rarity" stat. Preferably, if you can, you'd want to do this in the empowered timeline as it starts at 100 corruption and will provide you better odds of the item dropping.

To expand further on boss specific drops from timelines, these do not benefit from the majority of what improves random drops. Also, all timeline bosses have 4 specific Unique or Set item drops that can be farmed from them (with the The Last Ruin timeline being the lone exception, having 5 specific drops).

• two of these drops are non-empowered specific and mutually exclusive but have equal drop rates (meaning they each have a 50% chance to drop, but only one of them will drop).
  
• the third drop is empowered specific and its drop chance scales with the timeline’s increased item rarity.
  
• the fourth is not empowered specific, but has a drop chance that similarly scales with the timeline’s increased item rarity. The Stormcarved Testament falls into this category.

U may have noticed already from above post amd where they got there info. But lastepochtools.com will help u find where items drop. Amazing tool. I use this all the time when I need a said item for a build.
