you are also mastery locked after leveling for 2 days and making my own necro build only to find out that end game necro builds all sux unless you play a ♥♥♥♥ version of a minion build where you need to cast the whole time or you deal no damage wanting to not level straight away switching to my other spec would be the way to go only to find out you cannot respec is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ would not recommended this game to anyone until they sort this out

You realise politics has existed in gaming for well forever right? It's just now there are other voices being heard that annoy the status quo. Not that this topic has anything to do with politics. I think the OP was more complaining purely from a 'its modern all modern games give us this option' view than making some political point. Well that is being generous, its clearly a troll bait post (as evidenced by the way the OP never even bothered commenting on it)

But yes back to my first point, gaming has always had politics its just in the past it was always rather one note, being how mostly it was all created by late 20 something mostly White or Asian males this should not be surprising.

But anyway as I say this post had nothing to do with some political point. It was just a troll bait that went on for 6 pages.

If people posting in a game steam forum do it to attract attention, or for some Internet Credibility Points, all threads should have many posts, not just one about gender choice.

Players posting in a Steam game forum are hardly 1% of players of the game, I have doubts that it's only 1% of internet users that bother on their ICP.

That you have another opinion is fine, but can you explain why it's for this thread specifically? And can you explain why it's a so small minority of players?

So when they made tomb raider back in the day and wanted to appeal to teenage boys you don't think they chose an attractive female character model for a reason then? This is not a '2020' thing, its a human thing. Sex sells and always has. The difference is now different voice and views are being catered for.

This is such a non issue. Only Diablo 3 allowed for choosing your sex. And ultimately, what does that do for anyone really? way more pressing things to improve than something so inconsequential.

I must say it doesn't overly bother me (though I do like to customise my toon just cause I have a P&P background) but I can understand why it puts some people off. I mean it has zero customisation, which is quite unusual these days.
