Difficulty levels?

I've just started playing, and am only at level 12 right now but the game is so easy it's just boring to be quite honest. I was intentionally running into the projectiles of the big worm boss and I actually could not damage myself fast enough to counteract my health regen. Everything dies like grass in front of a lawnmower without even trying. It's not challenging and it's not fun. Can we please get a higher difficulty level?

It doesn't improve, ever. The game is tuned incredibly easy at the moment - even the endgame. If you aren't pants-on-head and have some arpg experience, this game will provide no challenge to you at any point, save pushing high arena waves (300+), and even then, not really.

Yep, you're right. I'm like level 30 now and it's still just as excruciatingly easy. I don't even bother worrying about equipment because it's a difference of "All enemies die in 3 seconds" vs "All enemies die in <1 second". This is just silly.

It appears to be inaccessible unless you have fulfilled some unknown requirement.

Edit: It appears I can select it now when creating a new character. I'm not sure if I completed some objective or if the game was just updated though.
