Very slow to load

Wondering if it is just me, but the game seems to be very slow to load upon launching it. I don't expect a game to insta-load, but I'm talking about upwards of 2 minutes from time I launch to the time I get the menu screen (sometimes I wonder if it is actually loading or if it crashed.

Like someone else said earlier, game looks like it need a TON of optimizing before it is is a state that I would consider ready for release.

Hope they are looking into this and get it fixed before they say it is done.

Same here, I'm loading it off a NVME SSD drive and its taking like 30 seconds to launch - oddly long. Only game slower for me is Red Dead 2. Its not game breaking for me (obviously) but it must be worse for people with mechanicals.

Hmm doesn't take that long for me. But something i have noticed is that the in-game loading times are now slightly longer than before.

I would think the answer is a combination of beta (game not optimised yet) and Unity generally being a bit well sub par. I play a really simple auto battler made in unity (virtually no 3d graphics at all) and it takes forever to load in as well.

I apologize for the long load times. It is something we have heard from other players as well and we are looking into it. Folks that are experiencing this have varying hardware and software so it is hard to pinpoint the issue. Which region server are you playing on? Long loading times has been related to the massive numbers who are/were playing.
I've played all day on EUW with a few seconds of loading time at most..

Just Delete Savegames and disable Steam cloud for this game. And then all be good!

The initial load is brutal, not sure why.

Slower and slower to load every day. At this point it's 3-5 minutes after launching the app before I get to a login screen. On top of that, my entire computer runs slower after launching this game and requires a reboot to get back to normal. At best the game currently has a memory leak. Fun alternative to the big D but I'll wait for a few major patches before I come back and see if this is fixed.
