Can't play anymore due to game kicking me out

I have played 70 plus hours on this game since i bought it way back when....now I load up a game, try to travel from the end of time to my mission, and the game kicks me out to desktop???? I tried starting a new game, had sound but black screen. I started and restarted steam, i uninstalled game, then re-installed....same thing...can anyone please shed some light on this? Many Thanks in advance

well, they asked me to send a log file from my game, their website includes a link that tell you how to access it, I spent an entire morning going through my whole blooming pc files with the above mentioned link thing, and found nothing....then I began to believe that it was in fact a ram deficiency.....the game recommends 16gb, but maybe if you have a few high spec games, as I do, that just isn't enough? But, I also suggest writing to them on the game website, they are very helpful and respond quickly.
I still haven't resolved my problem yet, but have kind of given up, thinking I do in fact need more RAM, so am thinking I will buy a new one and install that before I ask them again.
Another thing you can try, is to repair game through steam.
Go to game in Library, right click on properties, go to local files, and the click on verify files.

I don't think ram is the problem here. It is the same for me. came back after a while and get random crashes after a couple minutes. And I have 32 GB ram.

I did fix my issue by download the launcher through lastepoch.com. This might fix your issue as well. There is somthing wrong with the steam launcher version.

This still needs to be fixed. It probably is the steam launcher as has been said due to the fact that people can login with that one and when we use the steam one it crashes a few seconds after one hits the Play button. Just not going to play until it's fixed.

What do you mean by Steam launcher, BTW? For me, when I start the game in Steam, it takes me directly to the, well, game. There is no separate launcher window where i'd need to click "start".

Meaning the Launcher that is used by steam to start the game.
Many of us are, as soon as we hit 'play' the game hangs, and then crashes and we have to use Task Manager to exit out of the hung up game. WreckADEV went to their site and downloaded their launcher and apparently they can get into the game. That is the difference.
