Ezra Ledger fail?

I didnt know quest can fail, and this quest give me passive point...
Does this means i should restart the character?
I didnt even realize i got it failed until i see it under the failed tab and lost a passive point permanently? Seriously?

Strange.It's have 2 type of "endings" this quest.
1 Ezra Ledger (you need give item to Elder ) and 2 Artem's offer (you need give item to Artem gambler) .You anyway get only a 1 passive point.Maybe you complete Artem offer unstead of Erza Ledger ?? Look in your journal.

Theres two quests with the Ledger give it to Ezra or give it to Artem the Gambler and you can only complete one. As such I expect you completed Artem's quest called Artem's Offer.
The only difference between the two is Ezra gives 80 more XP and Artem gives 80 more gold.

Update as of 7/11/21: You don't get a passive point from turning it into Ezra, you get:

A Unique class pair of gloves named Avarice. +7 Armor, +10 Mana, 3% of Elemental damage leeched as health, 31% Increased Leech Rate, +13% Elemental Resistance. Flair: Have the wisdom to know what is rightfully yours and the will to seize it.

I don't know if the item was from a pool or static, I also don't know if the passive from Artem was replaced by an item.

Completing quest from Artem gave me an amulet +6 Health +100% crit chance if you did not crit recently, -50% crit chance if you did, +14 health on crit.

This is a much better item because it opens up an incredible amount of possible builds that will build around it and be fun
