When does this game take place?

I've watch season 1 of god eater on netflix.

does this game take place in the same area as the show?
when does this take place in the greater story?
will the game story spoil any of the show?

please keep thing general. I assume netflix will release more seasons for me to watch.

Just to make it clear, even if it's true that the story take the plot from the first game(alternatively the first half of GOD/S EATER BURST or 1/3? of GOD EATER RESURRECTION), but it's definitely not the same with the game. So...

1. No. GOD EATER 3 took place in Europe. The anime took place in Far East
2. IIRC it was 16 years after the first game.
3. Nope. Unlike GOD EATER 2, this game doesn't directly connect to the first game or GOD EATER 2.

I also enjoyed the anime, but at the end of the day I always think that it's just not the same. Think of it as it's own universe.

the anime is something different!
if the anime has anything to do with the game series, it only cover the first arc of the first game but with a lot of changes.

first game is around 2050
second game is 2058~2062 if I remember correctly
this game is in between 2088 ~2099 xD
