but the completely mindless gameplay where they made it borderline impossible to fail a mission, and the absolutely terrible story where i have to watch my mute character stand by and take abuse when they are literally an unstopable killing machine are just too much. the tipping point for me is always the scene where they take phym away, and my character just stands there and lets it happen after pretending to step forward. like bruh, put your little rifles down, i have a sword that will literally eat you....

Or is it better to just consider the franchise dead?
